She’s been separated from the Doctor - for the first time, really, in their travels. She thought she was going to die in a cargo hold on a distant planet, never to be heard from again. But then, miracle of miracles, she’s let out, and it’s the Doctor that she sees and even though she’s just had a near-death experience and terrifying Ood eyes staring at her, she is overcome with pleasure at seeing the Doctor.
